Really an incredible 5 days as I reflect on evenings sitting around a camp fire getting to know the kids…I have met some sweet hearts…some charmers…always ready for a game, a song, a new trick, a quiet word, a cuddle, a wink, another biscuit…honestly if not for this I would not even be interested in the rest of this. I have heard some heart breaking stories but am happy to report that the word on aids is really getting out here in South Africa and from the little I’ve seen people are working hard and pulling together to fight…the best way they know how.
